| › Continuing Education Tivoli has partnered with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System to help architects keep abreast with the latest advances in lighting and design for today's classrooms. We offer two courses: - How We See Color
- How We Use Color
How We See Color : Course Description This course will describe how the
human eye detects and identifies color and adapts to its surroundings
and why this is important to consider with lighting design. This course
will take a closer look at the complexity of the color process, while
also defining and explaining key elements, such as: color consistency,
stability, metamerism, color rendering, and the color rendering index. | |
| To take "HOW WE SEE COLOR" AIA approved course to earn one learning unit (1LU), log on to Hanley Wood University. How We Use Color: Course Description This course will review how the eye
adapts to color and what affects certain light sources, colors and
illumination levels have on the human eye. It will also look at why you
should take these items into consideration in your overall design. This
course will touch on color specification in order to achieve the desired
affect for your project, and highlight the different controllable
technologies available to help you achieve this affect. To take "HOW WE USE COLOR" AIA approved course to earn one learning unit (1LU), log on to Hanley Wood University. |
